The core loop of Fish Road Game follows a step-based progression format. Each round begins with a bet placement, after which the clown fish starts moving across a sequence of stepping stones on the underwater path. At each step, the player chooses to either collect the current multiplier or advance further. If the fish reaches the next stone safely, the multiplier escalates. The four difficulty settings each define a different path length, which directly controls both the speed of multiplier escalation and the overall risk level per round. Shorter paths produce faster multiplier growth because the same mathematical ceiling is compressed into fewer decision points. This means that Very Hard mode produces the steepest multiplier jumps per step but also gives the player fewer opportunities to find a safe exit before the round ends.

• Easy: 24 steps — the longest path, slowest multiplier escalation, and lowest per-step risk. Suitable for players who prefer more frequent, incremental decision points and a more gradual build toward higher multipliers.
• Medium: 22 steps — a moderate reduction in path length that slightly increases the per-step multiplier growth. A reasonable middle ground between patience and pace.
• Hard: 20 steps — noticeably steeper multiplier escalation per step, with a tighter margin for error. Players familiar with the game's rhythm will find this mode more engaging from a risk-reward standpoint.
• Very Hard: 15 steps — the most aggressive progression available. Multiplier escalation is fastest here, and the auto-cashout strategy becomes especially relevant for players who want to lock in specific exit points without relying on manual reaction time.

The Autoplay function allows players to pre-set an auto-cashout target at a chosen step number, removing the need for real-time decision-making on every round.
